Requirements
Proven experience as marketing specialist or similar role.
Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/Social media etc.) and market research methods.
Solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software, and applications.
Well-organized and detail-oriented.
Exceptional communication and writing skills.
Commercial awareness partnered with a creative mind.
BSc/BA in marketing, communications, or equivalent.
Responsibilities
Marketing
Responsible for supporting and implementing the firm’s marketing activities which include coordinating outside marketing activities when assigned to do so including seminars/webinars, speaking engagements, and advertising
Coordinating the mailing and disbursement of promotional materials
Managing the firm’s marketing and sales calendar
Maintaining the firm’s website and social media to ensure information is current and accessible
Owning, scheduling, and writing the recaps for monthly marketing meetings
Sales
Maintaining a detailed pipeline of prospects clients and conducting follow up calls and activities as required
Screening and qualifying new clients
Coordinating and scheduling sales/prospect meetings as needed
Preparing and mailing proposals
Maintaining the pipeline to track all proposals delivered and the status of each activity
Following up on proposals that have been delivered when assigned to do so
Tracking and reporting on reasons for lost proposals
Coordinating and managing the fulfillment of an engagement after a sale is closed, including setting up the client in the firm’s billing system and other firm databases and coordinating with billing
Preparing and coordinating correspondence and mailings
Placing follow up calls on marketing and sales literature mailed out
